The short version
- We collect your email only when you give it to us (newsletter, lead magnet, membership).
- We never sell or rent your email address.
- We use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization, plus Cloudflare's aggregate analytics).
- We use cookies for two things: signed-in membership state, and aggregate analytics.
- You can request your data or its deletion at any time at privacy@safestepstogether.com.
What we collect
Email subscribers: email address, first name (optional), and the date you signed up. We use ConvertKit for email delivery.
Members: email, billing address, and payment processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card.
Visitors: aggregate, anonymized usage data (pages viewed, country, browser type) via Google Analytics 4. No personal identifiers.
Affiliate links
When you click an affiliate link, the destination merchant may set their own cookie to attribute the sale to us. That cookie is set by the merchant (e.g. Amazon, Aura, Medical Guardian), governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
Children
Our content is for adults responsible for the care of older adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Your rights
If you live in the EU, UK, California, or any jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Email privacy@safestepstogether.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Security
We use Cloudflare for site security, ConvertKit for email (SOC 2), and Stripe for payments (PCI-DSS Level 1). We don't store passwords for any service that holds your sensitive data.
Changes
If we change this policy in any meaningful way, we'll email subscribers and post a notice at the top of the page.
