A printed booklet, mailed
For the parent who'd rather hold a book than open another app.
The Family Safety Companion is twenty-four pages of plain-language safety guidance, in large type, with room to write. Saddle-stitched, soft-cover, pocket-sized. We mail it to your parent. They keep it on the kitchen counter.
What's inside
Twenty-four pages, all useful.
Written like a friend, not a textbook. Every page passes the "would I send my own mom this?" filter.
A look inside
Two sample pages.
Each spread sits naturally on the kitchen counter. Large type, pencil-friendly paper, plenty of white space.
A printed copy of the Companion, photographed in a real kitchen. Twelve more pages inside.
The book itself
A real, well-made object.
Pocket-sized
5.5″ × 8.5″ — bigger than a phone, smaller than a magazine. Fits in a kitchen drawer, on a nightstand, or in a purse.
Large type
14-point body type on heavy uncoated cream paper. Easy to read in soft light, easy to write on with a pen.
Built to last
Soft-touch laminated cover, saddle-stitched binding, coral ribbon bookmark. Made to live on a counter for years.
Personalized
Your parent's first name on the title page. The family code word page is set up for the word you choose.
Tear-off cards
The wallet-sized emergency card and the family code word card are perforated — pop them out, fold once, slip into a billfold.

Common questions
What buyers ask.
How long until it arrives?
Most U.S. orders arrive within 7-10 business days. We print in small batches and ship from the U.S. via USPS.
Can I have it shipped to me first so I can give it to my parent?
Of course. Just put your address in the mailing field. We don't include any pricing or invoice in the package — it's giftable as-is.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
Not yet. Canada is coming in summer 2026, with the rest of the world to follow. Email us if you'd like to be notified.
Is this content I could find on your website for free?
Mostly, yes. The Companion is the curated, paper-bound version of our best advice — designed for the parent who would rather flip a page than open a phone. The value is in the format, not the secrecy.
What if my parent has memory loss?
The Companion is written for parents at any stage. The wallet-sized emergency card and the kitchen-counter format are particularly useful when memory is shifting — having one trusted, simple thing on the counter beats remembering what's on a website.
